Communication Data: Messages you send to our support team, community posts, and feedback submissions.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and improve our services, including the book editor, publishing tools, and analytics dashboards.
Process transactions and send related information including purchase confirmations and invoices.
Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages.
Respond to your comments, questions, and requests and provide customer service.
Train and improve our AI models for the writing assistant and voice-to-text features. Your content is never shared with third parties for this purpose.

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, hosting (Vercel), and analytics.
Publishing Platforms: When you choose to publish a book, we share necessary metadata with your selected distribution platforms (e.g., Amazon KDP, Apple Books).
Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.
With Your Consent: When you have given us explicit consent to share your information.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.
Book Content: Your manuscripts, recordings, and creative content are retained for as long as your account exists. You may delete any content at any time.
Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement purposes.
Backups: Encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
Payment information is processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment processors and is never stored on our servers.
We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing.
Access to personal data is limited to employees who need it to perform their job functions.
